At Maleta Chic, all sales are considered final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing preference, or personal reasons.
Defective or Damaged Items
We stand behind the quality of every piece we sell. If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or damage caused during shipping, you may request a replacement or store credit within 7 days of delivery.
How to Request a Defect Claim
- Contact us at contact@maletachic.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and clear photos showing the defect.
- Our team will review your claim and respond within 2 business days.
Why We Do Not Accept General Returns
For hygiene and safety reasons, jewelry items — especially earrings and pierced jewelry — are considered personal-use products. Once worn, these items cannot be resold or handled by other customers. This policy is in place to protect the health and safety of all our customers.
Non-Returnable Items
- Earrings and pierced jewelry (hygiene policy)
- Items showing signs of use, wear, or alteration
- Items without original packaging
- Orders returned without prior authorization
Shipping Costs
In the event of an approved defect claim, Maleta Chic will cover return shipping costs. For all other cases, shipping costs are non-refundable.
